545 in the AM

i'm not in the habit of taking cars into manhattan at 5 in the morning - it tends to be the other way around after the occasional night of spending too much money. so i wasn't sure how long it would take to get over here. and now we're 45 minutes early, which would be awesome except that my 630 appointment is the first one of the day and there's no one here. i can't even check in.

so I'm catching up with my mom and trying not to get thirsty.

it is WAY too early to be awake and thinking about being cut up.
